OK, now into my 14th year with Vegas. This last week I've just gotten around to mapping my Focus to Timeline; Focus to Trimmer; Open Event in Trimmer ( this also shows the selection of that Event in Trimmer!); PreRender Selection and finally Render to New Track.
It's saving me so much time and allows me to keep thinking-on through the flow of my video.
If you've got a CSP or some such device, that takes this type of re-mapping of its existing Keys, do it!
