My understanding was that an X-touch one should work already "out of the box" when the Mackie protocol is selected.

So far I configured MIDI in and MIDI out, enabled external control. The Display on the X-touch is working. Play and Stop LEDs on the X-touch show the correct state. But that's about it, none of the buttons has any effect.

The X-touch has multiple Mackie e modes: MC-std, MC-Live, MC-Cub, MC logc, MC S1, MC Reaper, MC-TWfm, and MC-User.

Somebody experience how to configure this combination, before I start to reinvent the wheel ?
