I have Movie Studio 8.0 and got the FREE AVS Video Converter.

It tells me after I install it that it will put a watter mark on every video. But I can keep useing it for as long as I want.

All the YouTube Videos obn it say it is FREE.

Is there another FREE video converter that is good or am I getting the wrong one?

What kind of conversion do you want to do that you can't accomplish in Vegas Movie Studio?

BTW, AVS Video Converter is free to TRY. But as you found out, you have to pay to get rid of the watermark.

Sorry what I ment to ask is if I have say a VOB file or MP4 file or DivX file or any other type.

I need a good Video Converter to convert one file to any other file type.

Say I have a VOB file and I have to convert it to MP4 for my media player or I have to convert an M to say AVi for Movie Studio.

But all I find are ones you pay for.

And HandBreak I know is good but I always have some kind of prablem with it.P

Have a look at Freemake http://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/. It can do a wide range of conversions.

I usually do all those conversions between those file types in Vegas.

Say I have a DiviX file I want to convert to AVi.

I can not even open a DviX file in Movie Studio.

Or say I have an MP4 file I want to convert to just MPG.

I can not open an MP4 file in Movie Studio.

So what do you meen you do all you convertions in Movie Studio?
