Convert Markers to Menu Chapter Titles

Hey all,

I'm making my first DVD from Vegas 11 Premium. I've created 39 markers in Vegas and brought the video and audio into DVD Architect. I can see the markers along the timeline, but no easy way of auto-creating them in a menu without having to...

1. Create a text-only title and link it to marker #1
2. Copy and paste that title
3. Edit the properties to link to marker #2
4. Repeat 37 more times

There has to be an easier way without buying a $99 add-on.

Are you just trying to turn your markers into scene selections?

All you have to do is right-click on the video in the Project Overview window and select Make Scene Selection menu. The program will then automatically create a link to a menu (or series of menus) that list button links to your marked scenes.

Your markes may be mere numbers - which leaves you wanting for real word title presentation.
Best idea is to use SCS VegasPro NLE to edit regions on the timeline giving them meaningful titles. Then in render and export use the feature to export regions as marker titles so that DVDAPro will be finding them and auto creating them as scene selections.

I've never bothered with regions. I've just named the markers meaningfully and these carry over into DVDA automagically.

If you place the asset on the menu and then right click on it you will see an option to insert a scene selection menu.

And pressing F2 lets you edit the marker wording which will have been brought in from Vegas..
