You have to copy the DVD vob files to the hard drive then take the vob file and put it on the Vegas timeline, then convert the files to PAL, then there is a procedure for rendering to PAL but I forgot it. Then burn the DVD. If you don't hear the sound with the vob file you have to bust it off with besweet because it's ac-3.

Regarding Besweet, I am not sure to what format I should convert AC3 and then add it to the timeline. Is that what you are implying if I don't hear any sound?

Yes. Vegas cannot play AC-3 on the timeline so you must convert it from AC3 to wav using Besweet. Then after you render DVD-A3 will convert it back to AC-3 for burning.
