Still trying to render a 6-minute portion of an AVCHD project. I've been having difficulty rendering/burning this project for WEEKS.
In another thread, advice was given to me as below:
"render into a safe codec format like the sony YUV in an AVI container. Since your target is Bluray try the HD 1080-60i render format. If you can successfully render the sequence to this format it rules out the source format differences as the problem."
"Assuming the source combining works out, your next step is to determine the codec problem. I suggest converting that AVI file into the mp4 target. For AVC there is a choice of MainConcepts and Sony AVC codecs. "
I was successful rendering in this "safe" codec. But, this is standard def, not AVCHD, correct?
So, how do I now convert that AVI file into Mp4, so I can burn a blu-ray that has 1920X1080 AVCHD, 5.1 Surround attributes?
NOTE: This 6-minute portion is what I copied to another timeline in a new project. It includes the m2ts 1920X1080 files, as well as compressed .jpg files from two other digital cameras.
I am a beginner, so please be specific as possilbe....thanks!
