converting media for pro tools

I just finished a demo for a client which has done its job
and generated some interst and money for them. They would
like me to convert all their media into something that they
will be able to use in Pro Tools. Can I leave it all as
.wav's or do I need to convert to .aif, etc...

What do I need to do to accomodate them?

I've got about 13GB worth of data that needs converting and
I'll have to put it on Cdrom of course. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. I don't want to spend hours doing it
wrong, and get a nasty phone call from them :)

Hey Andrew -
I have a client I have to give all finished work to in Pro Tools
friendly format. Luckily, I have both, so I am able to use TransMac
to copy all .wav files over to a mac drive and then Convert and
Import into Pro Tools and convert to SDII.
So, with that much info, .aif or .wav is going to be the same, though
Macs often like to see .aif files more than they do .wav files.
Either way, they will have to be converted before they can be used in
Pro Tools. This is a feature in Pro Tools. Unfortunately, there is no
way to make sdII files on a PC...
If you need things to reposition properly in pro tools, render each
track in Vegas from the same spot so that you can just line them up
in Protools. Unfortunately, that means more disk space often, since
not every track may have information all throughout. This is the only
way to make sure you can reassemble in pro tools "in sync".

I don't need to worry about sync because they will be retracking most
of the material, but they wanted the option of pulling some of their
demo tracks into a project (most of the tracks came out pretty
damn good and could survive to a final album). I would love to put
their stuff on a HD but I don't know how long they plan on sitting on
this stuff (could be a week, could be 3 years) so CDrom is our only
viable option, they don't have a spare HD and neither do I. which
brings me to my next question...
Is there anything special I need to do to the CDrom for it to read by
a mac? (I'll be using Adaptec EZ CD)

by the way I can get TDK CDR's for 70 cents and it should take about
18 or so, it's just time consuming.

Hey -
I use Easy CD Creator and have nor problem when burning as either
Joliet or ISO9660, although Joliet will give longer file names...
