Vegas does not import PowerPoint directly because they are not media files.

You could use a screen-capture video application and import that into Vegas.

There is an application called "Moyea PPT to Video Converter" that worked pretty well when I tested it. It is not free but shows up on GAOTD occasionally.

If your slides are static with no special effects, then you could do a Save As and choose JPEG as the file type. All slides will be saved into a folder as individual JPEGs.

But if you do have special effects, then what musicvid suggests is the way to go.
