Cookie Cutter Square Repeat Grid Border Thicknesses?

Is there a way to alter the distribution of squares created by the Cookie Cutter tool so that the border thickness between the squares are all the same? I have a 10x7 grid for a virtual choir project. But the vertical lines between the squares are much thicker than the horizontal ones. This makes it look strange. I am hoping there is a way to shift that extra thickness to the edges of the entire frame of the project or something to make it look more even/consistent. Here is a pic of the same problem with my previous 32-square grid, but with the horizontal borders.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to match the H and V borders using the Cookie Cutter's controls where the Shape selected is square. As a test, I changed project properties to square (2160 x 2160) and the mismatch in borders still occurs. Interestingly, the borders are even if the grid is 10 x 6 when using the square shape. In fact, the V and H borders vary depending on the 'X' and 'Y' numbers chosen; eg: the border difference is even greater with 10 x 4 than with 10 x 5 using the square shape.

Is changing the Cookie Cutter shape from square to rectangle a viable option? With rectangle chosen, the H and V borders are the same with 10 x 7.

I'll try and look tomorrow. Thanks! BTW, I'm only using the cookie cutter because it seemed a quick and easy way to get a grid template. But I might try doing it a different way. There is another thread I had on this that I'll recheck.
