Cool Article on Mixing In Vegas

If you haven't already seen it, you should check out out the new Point-to-Point III article at www.prorec.com. It's cool because Rip takes you through a Vegas mix step-by-step including audio samples of before and after processing. It's very informative. (And I'm not just saying that because I co-wrote it...my parts are not the cool parts anyway! :-)

Rob,
Great job! THIS is the kind of information that truly helps in the learning process. I'm in the process of mixing two projects: an 8-track live performance with no overdubs of any kind, and a 22-minute prog rock song that features a ton of overdubs. Your article is loaded with tips that I can use when approach the final mix.

Thanks!

Be sure you check out the Point to Point 1 and 2 also, they are different bands with different approaches to the recording and mixing. They're also on Prorec.com just do a search in the articles area.

Yeah, exactly! Those are both great articles. Rip does an excellent job with prorec.com, doesn't he?
