one more thing!
When i insert a transition they are always short, how can i make them last longer?
Grazie wrote on 7/3/2003, 8:55 AM
A transition, by defintion, is overlap dependant. The more the ovelap the longer the tranni - unless I've missed something here? If you've got 2 events - "1" and "2" - if 1=5secs and 2=5secs, you can have anything up to about 4.5 secs for an overlap, anything bigger than this and .... well you can guess what happens. So, being overlap dependant, you can just "push" event 2 further into event 1. Everybody has got the favourite way of doing this - this is only one.

To make a transition last longer, you make the transition LONGER. Look at the size of the overlap. Make the overlap bigger (longer). The transition will last as long as the overlap.

Ed - Didn't I just say that?

It appears you did. But, if you look at the times, we were both typing at the same time. I just now saw your post.
