I'm using V5 and according to help I should be able to copy and paste a track by selecting a track (just click on the track label area), press cntl-c, and paste using ctnl-v. But, it doesn't work. I only get the last item(s) I copied into the copy buffer, not the whole track I selected.
The reason I need a track is that I have quite a few keyframes set at the track motion level (not clip level) that I need copied into another project (running in another Vegas instance).
Here's the limited reference to "copy track" found in V5 help:
Copy tracks
Select the tracks you want to copy and click the Copy button (or press Ctrl+C). The selected tracks are copied to the clipboard.
Paste tracks
Select a track and then click the Paste button (or press Ctrl+V). The tracks from the clipboard are inserted above the currently selected track.
Or, alternately, does anyone know how to copy and paste the attributes from track motion (not just the clip)?
Any suggestions?
Jim
