copy audio channel

unfortunately during the record of a movie just one audio channel has been recorded.
How can I copy one audio channel to the other channel.

Welcome to the forum, Bart.

Right click on the audio track, choose Channels, then select either Left Only or Right Only (depending on which track was recorded).

Yes, there is no need to "copy" information to the other (empty) track. Just tell Vegas to use the part of the track that was recorded. It will end up in both speakers in the final render as a mono track.
