Copy grouped -> Paste grouped

I've been editing video with multiple audio tracks in Vegas Pro 13. After syncing the audio tracks with the video I've grouped them so they stay in sync.

To make the final edit I first mark the rough cuts with regions, then copy-paste these pre-trims to the end of the project for finer editing. I can't do my pre-trimming in Trimmer because it can only trim one media file at a time - I need to trim the video and all audio tracks in sync.

I noticed that after pasting a set of video + audio clips that are grouped together, they aren't pasted as grouped - they lose the grouping. It's just a minor usability thing, but what do you fellow users think, would it improve usability if grouped items when copied, would not lose their grouping when pasted?

I'm not at my editing computer but I believe in Preferences there's a way to lock grouping.

... oops, you're right. I just realized the grouping had become broken / ungrouped in the clip-track sets I had previously grouped, and copy-pasting those obviously didn't paste them with any grouping. After I grouped them again paste-grouped works as expected.

OK, my user mistake!
