Do you want to ovelaid one project over another.
If you mean to add to existing project - just drop into timeline. edit and render.

Thanx, rebel44, but I tried to do it, and nothing. I have one project in the timeline and I need to add another project to existing. I take other project from Explorer (keeping left mouse button pressed) and drop it in the timeline, after the end of previous project. New project removes an old project from the timeline and replacing it. Now, I have new project, but only this new one. How to keep the previous project in the timeline?

The solution: open a second instance of Vegas. Open the project you want to copy in that second instance. Select the portion of the project you wish to copy and then select "Copy" from the Edit menu. Switch to the first instance of Vegas and open your main project there. Put the curstor where you want the copied material to go (at the end of your main project, if that's where you want it to go). Select "Paste" from the Edit menu or press "Ctrl-V" on the keyboard.

Voila!

Or frameserve your second project to the first.

Open a second instance of vegas, open or create your second project, frameserve with the Satish's plugin and on the first project add the frameserved avi.
