copy/paste Transition FX with events

I can not seem to do copy/paste of an event to include the Transition FX. (the Transition is left out upon doing paste)

I have a text media event with a Page Peel Transition, how can I do a copy/paste dup that includes the Transition(s)?

Remember that a transition can only occur where there is a fade or a crossfade. If you copy an event that crossfades into another and then paste it somewhere without the crossfade, there is no transition anymore.

If all your transitions are the same then you can paste all the events first with the required overlaps, then select all the overlaps and apply a transition to all of them at once.

If you're using fades rather than crossfades, i'm not sure what can be done to help you.

I saw what I did later (just copied the other overlapping event - not the event with the Transition in it), and your explanation here almost brings it all together. I can afterall copy/paste an event with a transition by itself (in this case it was a media text event with a Page Peel trans). I will have to study what you are saying here in more depth.
