For VP 23 and other recent versions there is a little button on the upper right of the text box that copies all attributes to other text events on the same track.

Doesn't it only apply to text events that are AFTER the selected text event? I find this doesn't always work as expected, unless I'm expecting more than it was designed to do.

I would think it copies font / text size / text color / text alignment / outline / Line spacing / character spacing / shadow attributes / text zoom and actual text. Is this the case?

It doesn't copy the actual text but only attributes.

Hello, thats actually works, thanks, but all of the style are now replaced, isn't there any way to selectively paste them?, like the event paste thing which are super helpful?

This rather simple tool is all or nothing. One way to do different styles is to break the text into different tracks. Alternatively a script can do this and it's one of the reasons I paid for Vegasaur.

@RogerS Are you aware of this situation ?

I have some tutorials that show how to access Titles and Text and adjust the various parameters of OpenFX effects. https://www.youtube.com/@JetDVScripts/videos

@MarkEzekiel I previously wrote a script called "Transfer Subtitle Attributes", which does something similar to that button in Titles & Text. After I saw your comment, I suddenly realized that the transfer feature by attribute is indeed necessary. So, I updated my script once again. You can download and use it to see if it meets your needs.

Download link: https://github.com/zzzzzz9125/VegasScripts/blob/main/Transfer%20Subtitle%20Attributes.cs

I will integrate it into this extension of mine when I have time: https://github.com/zzzzzz9125/UltraPaste

I also suggest that everyone check out @jetdv's tutorials to learn more about Vegas Script API, so that you can create very practical scripts like I did. Regarding Vegasaur, if you're looking for an alternative to it, why not create a free one yourself? All the features of Vegasaur are done by Script API. As long as you learn the Script API, you can always achieve the same feature you want.

thankyou for all of the comments, but as the native solution vegas doesn't have the feature of "copy" text event yet, but does have "event" pasting, which are bit confusing as i thought that including the "text" event paste, i might try the script, as for now im gonna mark this as Solved because "the feature are not there yet/not yet implemented", thankyou so much for all of the Responses, have a really great day!
