Been a long while since I've worked with Vegas. Glad to be back :)
I have a number of clips in different folders on the PC that I just dragged onto the timeline from Windows Explorer.
I would like to copy each of these files/clips into a single folder so the project is easy to backup.
But if I use Windows Explorer Vegas will not know to use the files in the new folder.
Now I can see all the clops by clicking "All Media" but nothing is in the Media Bins.
As I remember it Media Bins are not actually the folders on the PC where the files reside...
I think the first job is to have Vegas (if it can) copy all the media on the timeline to a single Project Folder so it knows where they are...
Then use Media Bins to organize the clips for the project.
1 - Right?
2 - How to have Vegas make copies of all the clips into a single Project Folder such that it knows to look there for future use?
I'm using Vegas 10.x on a 64bit Win 7 Pro PC.
Thanks for any help and hello to everybody.
PS - Are we at Vegas 11 now? How much to upgrade? Should I?
