Clark,

The "Copy Snapshot" function simply sends the image in the preview windows (whatever that may be) to your computer's memory. This way, instead of saving it to a file and having to import it into another program, you can just paste it anywhere, such as a Word document. It's just like any other media type: Copy (take the photo by pressing the button), then Paste (by pressing Ctrl+V in your document). That's all there is too it. Just remember that the resolution of your preview window is also the resolution of the output, so if it needs adjusting, do it there.
