"Copy Snapshot" disabled in VV3

Hello!

I have a problem with Vegas Video 3: The buttons "Copy Snapshot" and "Save Timeline Snapshot to File" are disabled, that is, gray and unclickable.

Is there any option to enable them again, are any settings incorrect or is this a bug?

make sure that "preview on external monitor" is disabled. that worked for me (but don't ask me why it has to be disabled).
