It should.Place the video in timeline.Expand so you can cut better.Mark the region you want to copy and copy/paste on empty timeline space.Render that clip and you have it.

Not if you are using Vegas 3. Vegas 4 will do this just fine.

If you've done it in the text generator you can save it as a preset. And if you've added FX's you can most likely save them as presets too. Then you'll just have to assemble them and recall the presets next time around.

Saved presets are great. I've got a Text preset that I created when I first started, in VIdeoFactory, and it has migrated with me all the way through to Vegas 4.0d. A very excellent feature indeed.

Thanks for the help. It works if both projects are open at the same time (two instances of the Vegas program running), but not if you close one project the copy on the clipboard is deleted.
