I just finished a personal blu-ray disc, and I made a backup copy to keep in a separate location. I would like to know how I can make a copy of a disc just in case something should happen to either copy.
When I prepare a DVD, I get a directory with AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders with the files that are burned to the disk. Making a copy was straightforward.
Now when I prepare a blu-ray disc, I get a .ISO file on my computer - which when burned to disc is extracted into a number of directories. Can I copy all of those files to a directory on my computer and burn them to a new disc? Do I need to archive the .ISO file to a blu-ray data disc that I won't expect to play on a regular player? I never want to lose my daughter's marching band video, and I'd like to be able to make copies in the future if someone else wants one.
I really need to start moving video files off my hard drive!
Thank you,
Susan.
