Copying an event

Can you copy an event from one project to another. I have tried using copy and paste but it doesn't work. I don't appear to be able to have two projects open at the same time.

Any help will be appreciated.

Yes you can:
Start VMS(P) 2 times. Open the one project in the first instance and the other in the second.
Select and copy the event(s) you need from the first project and paste them into the other.
Works perfectly well every time.
