copying composite envelopes

I have several short sequences saved as separate Vegas projects with multiple layers of video that I would like to combine into one monster timeline.

The problem is that when I select all and ctrl+C and then ctrl+V them together, the video composite envelopes with all my keyframe level changes don't get copied over. It was a lot of work to set all those points and I don't want to have to do them again.

What makes this more frustrating is that I swear I did this before with another project...and now I can't get the program to do it again for this one. Does anyone have any hints as to what may be different this time?

There's an option about locking envelopes to events (Under the Options menu) - do you have that on? - in your case make sure it's on in BOTH projects.

(In V5, it's not always easy to see the difference between OFF and ON - there's a square border round the icon when it's on)

Sony, could you please stop being so subtle and use a few colours!

Make sure "lock envelopes to events" is on, copy from V1 then paste to V2, events and envelopes both come over.
