copying DVD's

i have a plus rw disc and want to copy it to minus R, is this possible?

Yes, if you have a DVD writer that can author both formats (should be on the front of the drive... or if you have a minus drive- it can still read the + just can burn to them. So, yes, it can and is done frequently.
