Copying Keyframe Sequences

GrizzlyIke wrote on 11/27/2002, 10:38 AM
I have used the event pan/crop function with key frames to develop a moderately complex series of pans and crops across a still photo of the moon. I would like to apply this same series of keyframes to a different photo of the moon. Can I save, capture or otherwise apply the same keyframe sequence to the new photo without duplicating each keyframe individually? The event lengths will be the same.
Thanks for any help.

Two ways to do it:

1) Make a copy the first event, then add the new shot as a take.

or

2) Select all the keyframes in the first event's pan/crop keyframe strip, ctrl+c copy them. Ctrl+V paste the keyframes to the second event's pan/crop keyframe strip.

Sorry for the delay in my response to SonicEPM. I sort of just shut down for the holiday. Tried both tips - problem solved! Thanks very much for your help.

I am trying to use technique #2 for copying keyframe sequences but don't see any way to select all the keyframes for the Ctrl+C. I've tried Shift+click, Ctrl+click and Click/drag but none seem to select multiple keyframes. What am I missing?

Just click and drag with your mouse. that will select them.
