copying projects

Hello, I know this has been talked about before but I could not find the answer I was looking for.
I want to copy an old project to a new project I am working on. I have tried opening 2 instances of vegas and using control A to select everything then copy into the new project. This copies over all video and audio but I loose all my pan crop and track motion/keyframe settings.

Is there a way to copy a project over to another keeping all effects intact?

If you are running Vegas 6 you can now import an existing VEG project as you would any type of media. This means you can open a Veg within another "nest" a veg within a Project.

Grazie

Maybe the only way to preserve everything is to render out to AVI?

Pan and crop should copy and paste to a new project just fine,, track motion is another story, you have to select all the keyframes and then pate or maybe paste them to the new project,, pain but it works

fact is that 6 is the answer - nested projects is a BEAUTE and I would highly suggest it.
