Copyright trademark

I have had the need to include a copyright trademark (circle with a "c" inside) in rolling credits, and haven't found a way to do so using Vegas's Media Generators. I've gone through all of the fonts included and have tried to use Windows Office key programming (as a work around) with no success. Am I missing something?

Hold down the alt key as if it were a shit key and then on your numeric keypad enter the following four numbers: "0169." That will give you "©" which almost all fonts today use.

And just as a matter of picky correction, a Trademark is a graphic, a phrase, or a combination of the two used to exclusively represent a specific product or a specific company.

A copyright is a declaration that an original work is the property of someone in particular.

Thank you, and I stand corrected.

Not only is a trademark a completely different thing from a copyright, the symbols are different. When you want to claim a trademark, you use the TM symbol which looks like this:

Meyer Tissue™

When you actually register a trademark and when it is approved by the US trademark office, you can then use the registered trademark symbol which looks like this:

Kleenex®

You need to use these marks when referring to other people's products in your promotional or reference literature (such as user manual). You put the mark next to the first use of that name in the document, or in a special footnote area where you describe all trademarks referred to.

The copyright symbol should be used with the date on which the copyright was granted with the following phrase (as an example):

Copyright © 2006 John Meyer Productions
