Cossfades/Transistion Envelopes (Vegas 5)

It appears the new transistion envelope feature in 5 doesn't work with crossfades...am I missing something?....I was real excited about this new feature...however, if it in fact does not work with crossfades, than what a bummer....

You could put a dissolve, very similar effect...

Duh...forgot to check if it worked with dissolve....thanks for pointing that out.......
