The sound add on was the main thing I wanted to test in the new version before I bought it- and it will not launch. Anyone else reporting something similar?

It looked like you did not install Smartsound Sonicfire Pro 6.0 besides the plugin in Vegas Movie Studio 14.
If you did, do you start VMS 14 as admin?
It's all part of the same installer package. I am not aware of a separate download. Any way to just install that one portion? And trying the Run as Admin now. BRB

It is a different installer. Please check your purchase confirmation email from Magix. There are 2 links for Smartsound SonicFire. One is for the program and the other is for the plugin.

Thanks- it was the trial download I was referring to- and that was a single download install package. I wanted to test it out before I purchased. But I went ahead and bought it anyway- and the confirmation email does indeed have multiple download links. I'll give those a shot . Thanks for your reply.
