okies.. this isnt much to ask for but here tis..
all i want is to be able to import my ac3 file and see all 6 channels... as oppsed to seeing a mixed down version on my timeline..
Its not much, but i need to see my levels AFTER the render to ac3 as sometimes the encode might overcompress my dynamic range which i may not want..
another thing, i want FULL ac3 support, not juast stereo or 5.1
i want to be able to mix strereo ac3 for menus, and have 5.1 for my main... i dont see why this is so hard to do cnsidering i used to be able to do this in DVDA1..
Now vegas even lets me render out to pretty much every verified Dolby format (apart from dolby headfone) so why cant architect let me import these files??
I might want a mon o commentary.. and if my main is 5.1 and its playing in teh background while the commentary is on, that means im forced to run 2 streams of 5.1, and even if i mute all other channels, that stream must remain as 5.1 else DVDA3 wants to render it (when it shouldnt have to.. ) also with 2 streams, it digs into the bandwidth so running variable might even nuke teh playback if bandwidth exceeds its threshold..
So thats somethign to think about..
umm. what else..
Oh for some strange reason im gettin a couple of frames off my renders. I render my video and my audio seperately.. i create loop points ,highlight them then render..
now whn these are imported, the audio is usually 2 frames off.
now this isnt so much of a problem, but to me, if im rendering frame accurately, i shoud be able to import frame accurately.. all my projects are 25p so theres no timeslipping or anything like that..
