Couple bugs in V4.0?

I downloaded V4.0 last night and worked on a production until 6:30am. I noticed a few "undocumented" features. Some of my jpeg files that I selected in explorer would not display in the video window (the size was correct, but the box was black). I had to put them on the video track and select them to view.

In addition, I rendered two videos for screen display (not to drop to tape) in Mpeg2, progressive, high-quality, everything else default. Both got to 100% in the window box, but only said 99% on the menu progress bar on the bottom of the screen. The video would never say it was finished. I stopped the video rendering at this point. The files rendered just fine, but the program would not finish the last 1% (on the bottom of the screen). It didn't stop me from getting what I needed, but both items seem to be repeatable--which is a first for Sonic (while Adobe isn't fixed (level 1 bugs (crashes (explodes/locksup), for 6 months or so).

Stable, just annoying. Any duplication, ideas?

I just finished rendering an MPG file and the lower left hand corner still said 99%. However, the box in the middle of the screen said 100% and indicated the render was complete. The center box also indicated 22 seconds remaining. I don't know why the difference.

We will look into this.

Just so you know for the future, if the Cancel button in the render progress dialog (center of the screen) has changed to a Close button, then the render has completed. Or if you had previously checked the checkbox "Close this dialog when rendering completes" then that render progress dialog will be taken down when rendering is finished and you won't see the dialog anymore.
