Couple Questions

First time poster here... I have a couple of audio Vegas 4.0 questions that I am hoping you guys can help me out with.

1) How do I mirror and audio track? For example, play a guitar solo backwards.

2) Is there an easy way to clean up your project files. For example, I have a song I have completed and I want to get rid of all the erroneous files that I am not using anymore. I only want to keep the files that are part of the song itself. The only way I know how is to right click each audio clip in my project, and go to properties, and find the name of the files I want to keep. I then delete all the others out of that songs project folder that are of no use to me. I then open the file and click the button "Ignore all missing files and leave them offline". Then save the project. There has to be an easier way.

3) I have a song that I deleted a bunch of .wav files that I no longer needed in my project folder. Now when I open it up, i get a "The following file could not be found in the specified location" message. I then click the "Ignore all missing files and leave them offline" and click OK. I then save. Though, when I reopen I get the same error message. For two other songs, I had no problems doing the #2 Question (above) process to get rid of erroneous files; but with this song, I keep getting this error message. Any ideas how to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance!

1. right click on your wave file, open copy in sound forge or open copy in sound editor, in your sound editor reverse the file. The reversed file appears in you vegas session.

2 and 3. Go to tools, clean audio files, Save.

Thanks!
Actually, its TOOLS--->CLEAN MEDIA POOL
...that worked.

Can I use any Audio Editor, or do I have to use Sound Forge?
If I can, what are some good free audio editors?

I found that I can just use the Windows Sound Recorder that comes with XP to reverse my .wav files. Though, it doesn't support mp3's.
