I just thought I would post this for folks that might not know about it...
There's a real nice application (free for personal use) called CPU RightMark, that allows you to monitor CPU core temps, loads, throttling, etc. I used it a couple months ago when overclocking my Q9450 quad core CPU, and find myself coming back to it all the time.
The link to the site is http://cpu.rightmark.org/download.shtmlhere[/link], and the file you want is the RightMark CPU Clock Utility (RMClock), down towards the bottom of the page.
It works on 32-bit and 64-bit systems, but you need to have the signed driver for Vista 64 to allow you to install it. If anyone needs the link to the signed driver for Vista 64, you can find it http://rapidshare.com/files/112841889/RTCore64.sysright here[/link].
It's a nifty little application if you haven't seen it before, and it is especially nice to monitor what's going on on all the cores during a render, for example.
