hi. What video settings should i use in movie studio 11 platinum, gpu or cpu? Can't find where i can choose between these options? My setup is I7 4790K cpu with 16gb 1600mhz ram gtx 770 gfx 1x 250gb ssd 2x1tb hdd. Windows 8.1 pro. Or to put another way, the best stettings for the program?
The "best" settings for the program depend on what format and resolution of video you're editing and what you plan to do with the output of your finished project.
That said though, the default settings for your CPU and GPU that the program selects when you install it are usually a good place to start. I'd only start playing with the internal settings if I started having problems.
Meantime, have you considered updating your operating system to Windows 10. Movie Studio should run just fine on it (although you may want to uninstall/reinstall it once you upgrade your OS).
The Project Settings and Video Project Settings you use should then be based on your project's source video, for best performance.
Hi i allready set the project settings similar to video settings. So all good there:) And i also updated the program. But i can't find anywhere that it now has 64bit support??
hi again. Found out on my own how to render the movie. But there is no audio on the film? How do i import the audio as well along the video to timeline?
Hi, sorry of course forgot to tell my camcorder is a Canon Legria HF16. The clip is shot as mpeg TS or MTS and it's as 1080-50i under project properties. I also choose pal dvd widescreen under the same. I know very little about this so i hope i got you the right info? There is sound when i play the clip in vegas but when rendered and ready for burning there is no sound. In the audio tap under PP the master bus mode is stereo. Sample rate 48.000 and bit depth is 16. resample and stretch quality is best.
Sorry for my poor info but hope you can use it som how:)

And burned to dvd with success:) I must have done something right. But there are some clips that i want to delete/move from timeline because there are blurred/shakin recordings. Is there a easy way other then just deleting the clips? I tried many times but when i put the other clips together again the deleted clip is still there?
