Crash 683 This Morning and Picture!

Howdy.

Just completing some Q&A activity ready to sign-off this work for the client's visit tonight. Simple stuff like:

- Text Size.

- Some Colour Correction and Grading.

- Audio Level and Gamma level on one tiny bit.

- Straightening a "skew" bit of camerawork . . . .

y'know, the straightforward shtick we all do . . .

OK: Please note that the UNDO and REDO are still there, even after crashing-out; the autosave files are there and I have a restore from last night's work still there.

So after crashing out, the UNDO REDO aren't removed, or more to the point haven't been "removed", but by the size of the UNDO is chock-full of operations I have conducted.

This time the crash happened when I click on the External Monitor and then hit ESC. I have NO idea what this could or couldn't mean.

Cracking on . . .

I'm just about to reopen "same" project to see if the work I did earlier is still in place.

Just need to remember the changes I made. All good fun . . . . (not) . . .

My edits took hold, so my activity wasn't lost, even though I got a Crash and PhoneHome. I need to include some Text and Graphics that my client and his colleagues will be sending me later this morning. Once those are in place, it's a render to Lagarith, open VP9 (aahhhh....) Render DVD from Timeline and wait for the client tonight to view and then sign-off . . . . . couldn't be easier? Yes?

Oh, just tried to repro the ESC out of External Monitor? Nah, didn't crash.

grazie i (we) all feel for you. it's SO f'king annoying - crashes you get, understand, but can't replicate every time. grr.....
