2.0g and still crashing
very unpredictable, sometimes no crashes for hours sometimes no crashes for seconds...
10% is crash requiring to restart vegas, 90 % is crash freezing PC requiring hard reboot.

Same in all other versions of 2.0x

Test cases : dual PIII 750, 512 meg ram, win2k, matrox g-400, dual mixtreme PCI, 1 gina 20

PC 2 : Pentium III, 850 256 megs ram, win98se, voodoo3 3000, Aardvark TDIF

Tried with promise card, without promise card ( UDMA66 ) hard raid, soft raid, no raid, whatever. Trying to have the same circumstances in samplitude, sonar, and cool edit, but cant get them to crash.

Not that this will help you other than to know you are not alone. I have had the same problem with Vegas crashing. I have written to tech support, they said to upgrade to 2.0g, I did and it still crashes. The worse thing about it is that I have contacted tech support again and they will not return my email. They are basically ignoring me.
