Crash every time I open project - the cause ?

set wrote on 12/28/2014, 9:04 PM
I was wondering what's the issue here...

I was working with Vegas previously, and I try test working in 32bit video range (usually I only in 8 bit) during grading, render to XAVC-S intermediate 25p, then save-as, delete all content in the timeline leaving only markers, so I put the intermediate render, for exporting to final one. Close...

Next morning I turned on, open project, it crashes 2 times before finally successfully opened, then export, done. I hope it's over...
But now when I'm about to load the main edit, it crashes everytime!

I leave code on the last report: #Setiawan_Crash20141229

Project file anomaly causing this ? (seen at Sony Stabilize, Stabilization data is not saved, need to be recalculated)

Also, does testing a small tool can affect whole stability?
Recently I tested http://slowmovideo.granjow.net/, a Twixtor alternative, but must be run independently.

Update:

After writing this thread, I try turn off GPU, reopen project, and successfully loaded, then try 'cleaning it up', by removing the unused media, then save as different project file..

Seems work on new VEG project, then try reopening previous project, and goes crash again.

To SCS Developers reading this, I leave the same tag #Setiawan_Crash20141229. Hopefully it is a bad project save, but, you can analyze more of the issue...

Which GPU and driver are you using with this project? Where is your source material located? Which is your destination drive?

I'm in System #1,
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD5750 Series, driver is Catalyst 14.9
Source material is the same working drive as the project VEG file is.
(D:\20140913 Ferdian-Natalia Muara\vg900 and D:\20140913 Ferdian-Natalia Muara\A7s)

Destination rendering drive is different, E:\FINAL ....

*The crash occured during opening VEG project, not during rendering.

*Add more info:
Project Source media: 25p AVCHD, and several shots 50p (which are slowed down 50% for nice slow motions).
Common FXs I used in the project are: Sony Color Curve, Color Correction, Color Correction Secondary, Fill Light, NewBlueFX TotalFX Skin Touch Up, and Sony Stabilize in MediaFX level (in subclip created to narrow the stabilize process and cut the unused part).
