Crash pasting event with OFX onto Vegas 10d 64-bit

Notable fixes/changes in Version 10.0d

Fixed an issue with pasting effects or transitions from another instance of Vegas Pro.
---------------------------------------

It now works with Vegas 32-bit but when pasting from Vegas 64-bit onto another instance of Vegas 64-bit, it crashes with problem report window.

If someone could try copying a single event with either a BCC 7 OFX or transition, or a Newblue OFX or perhaps Sony Stereoscopic 3D Adjust OFX from a Vegas 64-bit instance onto another Vegas 64-bit and let me know how it works out for you, I would greatly appreciate.

I basically only work with Vegas 10 in 64-bit mode and this was my number 1 bug fix on my wish list and unfortunately it is only fixed in 32-bit version.

I usually have many instances of Vegas running side by side but since Vegas 10 is out, I had to make sure I had no OFX filters or BCC 7 transitions on my events, therefore wasting a lot of time removing those fx before pasting them.

It really changed my workflow and was hoping that finally it would work out like it used to. That was the beauty of Vegas for me, having 2 or 3 intances of Vegas running side by side. I usually have my b-roll on one instance and paste them on my main editing session.

So if this is a bug, that means it could be more months in the wait if they do get it fixed. Only wished that they would issue fixes more frequently.

Same crash here using 10d 64bits with BCC7.
Looks like the bug has not been solved.
I hope it'll be solved in a future release.

Thanks for reporting, so it does look like an unfixed bug even if it was listed as fixed.

I just tried to get back into the download page to reread the update change list but the page times out, must be being hammered.

Anyway pretty certain I read this in section 3) Known Issues but you should check it for yourself as I wasn't paying much attention and my memory isn't what it used to be....if I can remember what it used to be :)

Thanks Bob,

I did go over section: 3.0 Known Issues and couldn't find anything that would compromise pasting into Vegas 64-bit.

Who knows, it might be added to the list next week...
