Vegas Audio LE on
PIII 800, 256 CAS-2, ASUS CUSL2
Win2K, Echo Layla24 w/ latest drivers
pcAnywhere connection to laptop for display and control.
Doing extended multitrack recording.
First couple runs seemed fine. Recorded >80 minutes continuous
without a hitch. Then I started getting freezing somewhere between 2-30
minutes into the recording session. Must be bad because it causes the pcAnywhere
connection to drop. Nothing in the Event log.
Never experienced anything like this with Cool Edit Pro SE, so I think it's a Vegas issue.
CEP however doesn't have the feature set or ease of use that Vegas Audio gives me.
I'd hate to go back, but with live recording, stability is paramount.
Any ideas or suggestions?
