I have used Vegas since v 8 and also v11 since it came. The last couple of months I have not worked with it though. Now I opened it and tried to render to mp4 using MainConcept settings. When the render is complete the computer nor the cell phone can play it. Other times it crashed during render. If i use the Sony mp4 templates the render starts and calculates indefinately the rendering time but it doesnt make any progress and never finishes. If I cancel the render efter waiting for some time it says "render stopped by user" but the dialogue never disappears. If I then go into task manager it shows a process still going on, the "FileIOsurrogate.exe". After more waiting i have to switch it off maually which makes Vegas crash altogether.
Anyone has a suggestion on what to do?

I use a i7 24, GB RAM, NVIDIA Geforce 530 graphic card. etc
