Crashed Files will not open

I was importing an .mts file when Vegas crashed. Now the file crashes Vegas each time I attempt to import it. This has happened with one large and one small file. I have successfully imported files as large as 4GB. It seems that because Vegas crashed while importing these two files they will no longer open. I have tried opening on two different machines (one running 9.0 and the other running 10.0). Any ideas on how to get Vegas to open these files?

This is the error I receive:

Can you open and playback these problematic files with a third party player? If no, then the files are to be blamed, if yes, then it's Vegas' bug. If you can play them with other players, then download the trial of Platinum 11 and see if the bug is fixed there. If yes, upgrade.

Also delete any .sfk files with the same name created in the same folder as the .mts files in question. It might be the sfk files that are corrupted, and not the .mts ones.
