Crashes after adding video FX

VP14 (270) Options, Preference Video: Only two options are available. Off & Intel(R) UHD 630
VP16 (361) Options, Preference Video: Three options are available. Off & Intel(R) UHD 630 & NVIDIA GeForce (1060).

VP16: Using Vegas Stabilization the programme crashes unless the nVidia card is seleted or no device is specified.
VP14: Using Vegas Stabilization the programme crashes unless the no device is specified.

Essentially running under Intel Graphics is not an option. Why not?

Weird. My GTX560Ti nVidia card shows up in both VP14 270 and VP16 361 as choice for GPU acceleration .. Apparently In your case you are saying your GeForce 1060 card does not show up as a choice in VP14 (270) but does show up in VP16 (361) ..

If it shows up in VP16 then I assume all the right drivers are loaded in your system and it should show up in VP14 and VP16.

What driver do you have loaded for the GeForce 1060 card? Might be some history of a certain driver not working with VP14 ??

+1 Also with me in VPo 14 b270 as in VP 16 b361 both are showing up. From both latest drivers installed
Intel 23.20.16.4849, I never use
Nvidia 25.21.14.1917 of 20-2-2019

Nvidia 25.21.14.1917 was installed.

Needed to go back to 23.21.13.8813 before VP14 recognised the card.

Note: 417.35 also works but insists on loading 'Geforce experience' even on a clean custom install.

That you can switch off.
I always install only the graphic drivers, all the other options , that are able to influence my edit programs, I skip always and otherwise deïnstall them.
