Crashes at opening

I just purchased Vegas Movie Studio Suite 17 and it will not launch at all. It will only partly load and then crash saying that it is not responding or something similar. I just purchased this product so it is very frustrating. I did send the report when prompted and included information about the problem to no avial.

I have an HP intel core comp and im using Windows 10. I have pretty much tried everything and it is saying the program is either not responding or something crashing with the startup.

That is nothing saying on the hardware question.
Which processor (CPU), which used GPU, how much usable memory?

I think your computer is too low to use Movie Studio 17.
Didn't you try it out for 30 days before buying?

Depends on the type of files you want to use, but best is at least a newer i7 or i9 with enough memory if you want 4K files to edit.

I have the very same problem.
I doubt too that my characterics are low and I made the same mistake by the colleague above. The issue is that I had the same problem with 13.0 before that and it was totally compatible. I send a ticket and I am waiting for the answer...

So what's weird it that I had Vegas Pro 16 last year and my computer handled it just fine.. that why I assumed Movie Studio 17 would be no problem...? Let me know if you guys get an answer please! I also contacted support to no avail yet.

Guys, I succeeded in starting it after a huge number of different tries. I deleted the driver-file (dll) which was indicated in the "fault mode". After that it worked with some problems - for example, I was not able to put text, it showed some mistakes. Thereafter I reinstalled it once again and this time it works pretty fine (so far).
