So what type of video are you trying to open in DVD Architect?

Be specific. Don't just say "AVI" or "MP4". Include the codec details as reported by MediaInfo.

Thanks.

Since the majority of that error dump will mean nothing to anyone here, we'll need more info if we're going to help. When do you get this error, what kind of files are involved, what else do you have running at the time, are you using latest updates of all software involved and firmware for hardware involved...

And then we'll go from there. ;)

First of all thanks for responding to my post. I appreciate this.

I'm a computer programmer and "access violations" are program bugs - attempting to read or write memory from/to outside one's program. I logged the dump information which would be valuable to a Sony programmer. I'm new to Sony Architect and maybe this it not the place to post this information.

I don't remember what I originally did to cause the dump. But after the dump occurred, every time I went into this one "submenu" it dumped. The submenu used to work. I deleted the submenu and its contents and rebuilt it - and all worked ok.

Many other submenus and their contents in my project worked ok. One other submenu's contents, short 3 to 4 min MPEG II files obtained from youtube, that used to work before the crash then only produced the audio not the video when selected. I deleted them and rebuilt them, "insert media", and my whole project is now ok.

My DVD Architect is 4.5d (Build 107) - this obtained from the dump.

How do I get updates?

Again - thanks for you help.
