Crashing under Win 2000

I've just downloaded the VF 2.0c demo and installed it under windows 2000 Pro (The full version should be delivered any day now... I just wanted to play) but as soon as I launch it I get the message that there has been an error in vidfact2.exe and the app quits. The video capture utiltiy seems to run fine and I had no problems capturing 15 mins of video with it.

I just can't get the editor to run.

I'm running a Duron 700 with 512k RAM, Win 2k Pro and a Hauppauge Win-TV PVR capture card.

Any suggestions?

-Search for 'extmondrv.dll' with the Windows search utility.

-Delete 'extmondrv.dll'.

-Restart your computer.

Video Factory should now open without a problem.

I did a search but that .dll isn't there. Anything else I can try?
