I am using the trial version 5.0a of vegas. I'll admit right now that I am a noob at editing and such. The problem I am having is this: I can capture just fine and edit and everything the first time through. After shutting down the PC and restating vegas the next day, the program crashes when I try to import the already captured clips from the destination folder through the Explorer menu. I gives an error message with a bunch of numbers (I'd post them but I'm at work right now), I click OK and it shuts down. I've tried reinstalling a number of times but the same problem occurs. The only problem I can see relating to this is an error message that pops up when I start vegas stating there was an error when starting up but the source is unknown. Has anyone else had this problem with the full version? I've read such good things about Vegas and want to purchase it but not if I can't get it to work
Also note, I am pulling the captured files from an 80 gb 7200 rpm slave drive, non-partitioned. System specs: WinXP home, 1gb RAM, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB
