Crashing when trying to render

My Sony vegas often crashes when trying to render. i've tried different presets and changed a whole bunch of settings but it doesnt seem to help. Im not getting any error codes either just program stopped working and bam no more vegas.

 

I upgraded from 15 and never had issues with that. anyone knows what i am doing wrong let me know

I think this maybe a hardware issue CPU/Memory over heating. Please give information on your PC hardware and media being used.

(Intel 3rd gen i5@4.1GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, 1080Ti GPU, Windows 10) Not now used with Vegas.
