Create chapter points not shown on menus?

I have a long form DVD to produce. It is a play presented over five short acts, each act being 12 - 15 minutes in length.

I would like to have a very simple DVD menu structure with scene selection buttons shown for the beginning of each act. I would also like to provide chapter points at three minute intervals within each act but I do not want these to show.

The idea is to be able to step through each act in 3 minute intervals without having a cluttered menu/submenu system. I have not yet figured out how to do this. Is it possible? (using DVDA2)

Thanks,

RalphM

Sure. A couple ways.

1. Set the chapters that you do want on the scene selection menu. Then right-click on the media and choose Insert Scene Selection Menu. Then go in and set your three-minute chapters. These will not appear on the scene selection menu because it's based only on what's there when you create it.

2. Set all your chapters (since you're doing them every three minutes, it might be easier to do this in Vegas -- there are scripts for this sort of thing). Then right-click and choose Insert Scene Selection Menu. Then go to that menu and delete all the buttons you don't want. The chapter points themselves will remain.

Thanks Rob,
I've done only a few DVDs in DVDA and this was throwing me - will give it a try.
