I've been using Vegas for a while, mostly as a hobby. So i know my way around it a bit.

In my latest project I want to have single letters falling from top to bottom; eventually making a whole word.

I would also like the falling letters to constantly change between different letters as they fall. i.e. If the final letter to display is D then I want the falling letter to switch between other letters of the alphabet so that the viewer only knows D is in the word once the letter reaches the bottom.

I'd also like the falling letters to have some effects e.g. focus loss, scratches that come and go etc

Should I try to create this in Movie Studio and if so what features should I utilize?

Should I use a different application and if so what would you recommend?

I appreciate this is a bit vague but I am in the early research phase so collecting options.
